This project is meant to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the .hack series. Due to the nature of this project, this zine will contain major spoilers for .hack.This will a SFW, non-profit project with a main charity zine and a digital-only community zine.

What is a zine?
A zine or fanzine is a self published work of writing or art, usually geared towards a specific theme. They can be solo or collaborative anthology projects.Are pairings acceptable?
Short answer: Yes but keep it SFW/PG-13. 🍊Are AUs and/or OCs allowed?
For this project, we would prefer to keep things based off from the source materials and settings. OCs and FANMADE AUs will not be permitted.What is the difference between the main charity zine and the community zine?
The main zine will have a more thoroughly curated contribution, featuring illustrations, fics, cosplay, merch, and more done by selected contributors and guests and will be available in both physical and digital copies. This will be a charity fanthology where proceeds of the sales will go towards a designated charity.The community zine, on the other hand, will be a free digital zine (that you can print on your own for personal use). Content-wise, you will have less creative restrictions than what we offer in the main zine, and you can apply regardless of skill level. While we MAY have to cap the number of accepted contributors for the community zine, we want to make sure that applicants, regardless of skill level, will be able to join.The community zine, on the other hand, will be a free digital zine (that you can print on your own for personal use). Content-wise, you will have less creative restrictions than what we offer in the main zine, and you can apply regardless of skill level. The aim of this community zine is to show off your love for .hack in a much chill and encouraging way in order to let you enjoy the simple joy of creating.While we MAY have to cap the number of accepted contributors for the community zine, we want to make sure that applicants, regardless of skill level, will be able to join.Will you be accepting works done in the traditional medium?
Yes. Please make sure that you provide clean, high-quality scans/photos of your work. Scanning 600dpi is highly recommended, but with at least a minimum of 300dpi.Will the main zine contributors receive a copy of the final product?
Yes, we aim to provide contributors of the main zine the full bundle with all the stretch goals unlocked, if possible.Will this zine include NSFW and/or ‘problematic’ content?
We would like to emphasize that this project is strictly SAFE FOR WORK/PG-13. 🍊While the mods and contributors involved may work/engage with NSFW content and other contents deemed ‘problematic’, it has no relevance to the project. We want to make this project a safe space for everyone and we do not tolerate harassment towards these individuals.Can I submit an older piece for the zine?
